Buying coins from us could not be easier. Just follow these steps to place your order online, alternatively give us a call or send an email, find the contact details here.
Browse the inventory
Click "Inventory" on the header of the website to access our webshop. If you are looking for a specific type of coin you can select between
- Featured coins
- Gold coins
- Silver coins
- Base metal coins
when hovering over the "Inventory" tab. The featured coins section is showing coins valued over £500.
Another option is to simply type in your desired coin, mint, date, anything! in the search box in the top right (see image below). This is handy and if typing in for example "1861" in the search box, all 1861 coins will appear in a list below the search box. You may click on them to go directly onto the product page for that item.
The search box is conveniently located in the top right corner of every page. Use it to find an exact coin.
When you would like to buy something click on the 'add to cart' button, this can be done on the landing page (New products, Note: not on mobile version of website), on any of the categories pages in the shop, or on the product page. The image to the left is showing an item that is available to purchase at £320. Click the round black button to add this coin to your shopping cart. When the black button isn't showing that coin is not available anymore and so can not be purchased.
When clicking this button you will be redirected to the shopping cart. This doesn't mean you can continue browsing. You can go back to where you were by clicking the back button on your keyboard, the item will stay in the shopping cart. Or click again on "inventory" to start the search anew.
When done browsing (or if you are unsure what you have picked up along the way!) you can view your shopping cart by clicking the little black bag in the top right corner. Even without clicking it will show how many items and value in there.
When you have clicked on the Cart button, or after you have clicked the "add to cart" button, and do not wish to make any other purchases, you may start the checkout process by clicking on the black "proceed to checkout" button. The process is very simple and you don't need to created an account unless you want to.
Step 1. If you are a new customer, choose to either set up a new account or continue as a guest. If you have created an account with us previously then use the login details you chose when setting up your account.
Step 2: Billing details: Complete the form and make sure you provide the correct address. For insurance purposes we ask that you provide the same address that you have registered with your payment card. You may click the box "I also want to ship to this address" so you don't have to fill in the details again on the next form, "Shipping details".
Step 3: Shipping details: This step will be jumped if you have clicked the box in Step 3: Billing details. If you didn't click the box you have to fill in the address details where you want your order delivered. Make sure you type in the correct address. Please note that the delivery address has to be the same as on your credit/debit card. If you want to deliver to a different address you have to call or email us to arrange for a different payment method.
5. Step 4: Shipping method: Our standard delivery method is by Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day Guaranteed (1pm) within UK and International Tracked & Signed to countries where this service is available, otherwise International Signed as we need a signature to confirm delivery.
6. Step 5: Order confirmation: This is the last page before payment - you will get a last chance to review and make changes to your order here.
7. Step 6: Payment: You can only pay by debit/credit card on the website. We do accept PayPal for a fee, UK bank cheque free of charge and CHAPS/BACS bank transfer free of charge. If you want to pay by a different method than using a bank card then give us a call as these options are currently not available on the website.
Note: We accept payment in all major currencies, contact us for bank details if you want to pay in EUR/USD/AUD/CHF etc.
Items will usually be shipped the day after received payment. With PayPal payment is instant, with credit/debit card 1-3 working days, bank transfer usually within a couple of hours if processed during working hours, otherwise more or less instant upon bank opening on the next working day. Cheque will need 1-2 days to be delivered by post, then another 5 working days to clear.
If for some reason you are unhappy about your purchase you may return the item within 14 days of receiving it. You will need to pay postage for the return yourself unless we have agreed otherwise.
